How Do I Install a Bar code font for use with BrokerForce™?

To install the Free 3 of 9 barcode font:

  1. Click the Windows <Start> button, click <Control Panel>, and open the <Fonts> folder
  2. Press the letter "F" on your keyboard to move to the first font beginning with the letter "F".
  3. Find the "Free 3 of 9" True Type font that was supplied with your installation of BrokerForce
  4. Double-click on the font name and click <Done> in the next window.  The font will be registered and ready to use with any of the "3 of 9" barcode reports in BrokerForce

If you have Windows Vista and the Free 3 of 9 font is not shown in your fonts folder:

Save this file to your computer and move a copy of the Free3Of9.ttf file from the zip file to the "C:\Windows\Fonts" folder on your computer.  Then follow instructions 1 through 4 above.

How to install the UPCA font provided from BrokerForce:

  1. Click on the following link and select <Save> when prompted to save or run the file.  www.brokerforce.com/download/UPCA.exe
  2. For Vista, right-click on the downloaded file and select <Run As Administrator>.  Otherwise, just double-click the file.  If prompted that the "Publisher could not be verified..." click <Run> to run the file.
  3. When the <Fonts> window opens, click <Done> in the upper left.
  4. Click the Windows <Start> button, click <Control Panel>, and open the <Fonts> folder
  5. Press the letter "U" on your keyboard to move to the first font beginning with the letter "U".
  6. Find the "UPCA" True Type font that your downloaded from BrokerForce
  7. Double-click on the font name and click <Done> in the next window.  The font will be registered and ready to use with any of the "UPCA" barcode reports in BrokerForce

If you have Windows Vista and the UPCA font is not shown in your fonts folder:

Download this UPCA.zip file to your computer and move a copy of the UPCA.ttf file from the zip file to the "C:\Windows\Fonts" folder on your computer.  Then follow instructions 4 through 7 above.
